Does the Kruiser need a booster pump?

No. It's a suction side cleaner and runs off your existing pool pump through the skimmer or a dedicated suction line.

What's the difference between the Kruiser and the Kreepy Krauly Classic?

Both use the same one-moving-part flapper design. The Kruiser adds a wider mouth, stronger vacuum, the finger seal and a built-in bumper for better coverage around obstacles, at a lower price than the Classic 360042.

Will it work on my pool surface?

The Kruiser is designed for inground pools. It works on plaster, gunite, pebble, vinyl and fiberglass.

How much hose do I need?

Enough to reach from the skimmer or suction line to the farthest point of the pool, plus one extra section. If your pool is large, add hose sections before the first run.

Does it climb walls?

It cleans the floor and climbs walls toward the waterline. It's not designed to scrub the tile line.

Where does the debris go?

Straight to your pump basket and filter. There's no bag on the cleaner to empty, so clean the pump basket and filter more often during heavy debris season.

What if it gets stuck or runs slow?

Check the flow gauge and adjust the speed control. Low flow is usually a full pump basket, dirty filter or air leak in the hose connections.

Are replacement parts available?

Yes. Every part on the Kruiser is replaceable, including the seal, flapper, hose sections, weights and skimmer adapters. Contact us with the part number you need.
